The coroner’s office identified the woman as Alicia Torres.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Multiorgan Failure

Cause of Death B: Methamphetamine Toxicity

Other Significant Conditions: Sepsis; Community-Acquired Pneumonia

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
