(L.A.) Alicia Smith, 39, Died at a Metrolink Station

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred on a bench at the train station in Santa Clarita.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Alicia Smith.

STATUS: The decedent’s body is ready to be released. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.

Manner and cause of death will be added to this page when it becomes available.

If the DME has ordered toxicological screening, the next public update may take five to eight months.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday evening.

First responders were called to the Santa Clarita Metrolink Station at around 5:45 p.m.
