(L.A.) Alex Urena, 40, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old male of Latin American ethnicity that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alex Urena.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Ethanol, Fluorofentanyl, and Methamphetamine

RIP ALEX URENA (March 23, 1982 – February 4, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:51 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 19, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
