Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 16-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the teen as Alana Bach.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 4:40 a.m.
The decedent had been in an accident with her mother Saturday morning.
Melinda Bach passed away at the scene while her daughter was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
