Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Hispanic female that occurred on a freeway.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Aeila Villegas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:29 p.m.

The decedent was on her phone while driving on the freeway when she crashed. It is currently unclear who the person on the other end of the line was.
