Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Adrian Hernandez Ortiz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Ethanol Intoxication

Other Significant Conditions: Alcoholic Cirrhosis, Hypertensive and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much over a short period of time.
