(L.A.) Abdullah Asaad, 28, Died at a Rehab Center

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old male that occurred at a rehab center.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Abdullah Asaad and listed his race/ethnicity as Middle Eastern or North African [sic].

STATUS: The decedent’s body has been released. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.

Manner and cause of death will be added to this page when it becomes available.

If the DME has ordered drug screening, the next public update may take three to five months.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

The decedent had been arrested by Burbank PD in 2023 for public intoxication.

Dou7ah was of Palestinian descent. He was born in Missouri and lived in Texas.
