(L.A.) Ivan Godinez Sanchez, 25, Died in Wilmington

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Hispanic male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Ivan Godinez Sanchez of Carson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic and Thermal Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:53 p.m.

At around 8:15 p.m. a vehicle speeding on Lomita Boulevard ran a red light and hit a vehicle going northbound on Avalon Boulevard.

The decedent was the innocent driver of the vehicle that was hit.
