Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Black male that occurred at a business.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Azuma Bennett.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP AZUMA BENNETT (March 4, 1992 – August 12, 2022)

The decedent was a personal trainer from Sydney, Australia. He moved to the United States in 2018.

Azuma “Zoom” Bennett was shot eight times outside a medical marijuana dispensary in Windsor Hills, a suburb near Los Angeles International Airport, at around 9:45 a.m on a Friday.
