Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ilya Gurevich.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Alprazolam and Fentanyl

Other Significant Condition: Recent Heroin Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:56 a.m.

The archdiocese has indicated that the decedent may have been homeless.
