The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jimmie Thompson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Sudden Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Congestive Heart Failure

Cause of Death C: Idiopathic Cardiomyopathy

Other Significant Condition: Recent Cocaine Use

RIP JIMMIE THOMPSON (October 15, 1972 – March 5, 2022)

This was ruled an accident likely because it was the cocaine that precipitated the death.
