Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a shed.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Joel Rickards.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP JOEL RICKARDS (December 4, 1958 – March 19, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:46 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 17, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.
