The coroner’s office identified the man as Carlos Molinar of Hollister, California. Born in Santa Clara County. Mother’s maiden name is Vasquez.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 4:11 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 28, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
