Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 96-year-old Asian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Kim Wong.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 2:23 p.m.

Based off the name alone, one could guess the decedent was likely of Chinese descent, or even Korean.
