(L.A.) Sammy Foster Jr., 42, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Sammy Foster Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Drug Toxicity

RIP SAMMY FOSTER JR. (December 4, 1980 – March 4, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:36 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early August, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
