Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Gabriel Chavez.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

The decedent shot his 10-year-old twin sons, missed hitting his wife, and then turned the gun on himself.
