(L.A.) Shea Whitemyer, 28, Died at a Private Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Shea Whitemyer.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Drug Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made early Tuesday morning, May 26. She likely passed away on Monday, May 25.

In the medical examiner’s parlance, “private residence” indicates it was not the decedent’s own home.

The government investigator indeed spelled the decedent’s surname as Whitemyer, and not the common spelling Whitmeyer or Witmeyer.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
