(L.A.) Miguel Gomez, 24, Died in Boyle Heights

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.
The coroner’s office identified the young man as Miguel Gomez.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday night.
The decedent was found in the driver’s seat of a silver SUV that was stopped in the middle of the road with one door wide open.
Authorities believe the incident was a car-to-car shooting and that it happened at around 9:45 p.m.
Gunfire had been heard in the area of 4th Street and Euclid Avenue, and the vehicle was found near Fourth and Mott streets.
