Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Black female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Joyce Gaston.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

RIP JOYCE GASTON (March 14, 1965 – February 6, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:45 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 17, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative.
