(L.A.) Allen Miller, 61, Died at Men’s Central Jail

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old White/Caucasian male who passed away at a correctional facility.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Allen Miller. Born in L.A. County.

Height: 5 feet 6 inches / Weight: 176 pounds

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Coronary Artery Disease

RIP ALLEN EDWARD MILLER (March 11, 1965 – April 28, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The decedent was found lifeless inside his cell at Men’s Central Jail, which is located at 441 Bauchet Street in downtown L.A.

He was arrested on March 22 for assault with a deadly weapon (not a firearm) on an elderly person. He was unable to pay even 10% of his $95,000 bail amount. His next court date was to have been on May 14.

This is LASD’s 16th in-custody death for the year.
