Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Black male that occurred in the California State Prison in Lancaster.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Traveon Hill.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Boyd.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Pulmonary Thromboembolism

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension, Asthma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:04 p.m. at the Triage and Treatment Area (TTA) of California State Prison, Los Angeles County (CSP-LAC).

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 30.
