(L.A.) Kum Soon Kim, 73, Died in Koreatown

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 73-year-old Asian female in Koreatown.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Kum Soon Kim.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday morning.

The decedent had been riding her bicycle at around 6:40 a.m. when a white Ram truck hit her.

Note that the government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Kum Soon Lee-Kim.
