(L.A.) Jessica Szarvath, 23, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Jessica Szarvath.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday night.

The decedent was in a collision in downtown L.A. at around 9:34 p.m.

LAPD said the crash happened at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Flower Street.

She was driving a gray vehicle when she ran a red light and hit the vehicle of a man driving southbound in the No. 1 lane of Flower Street.

The impact caused her vehicle to overturn. Firefighter-paramedics performed CPR at the scene before transporting her to a local hospital.
