(L.A.) Dontaze Storey Jr. , 29, Fatally Shot by LAPD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Dontaze Storey Jr. .
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Chest
RIP DONTAZE STOREY JR. (August 18, 1979 – November 11, 2008)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:42 p.m.
The decedent was shot by LAPD in Koreatown.
Years later, a jury in a civil case would award $750,000 to the 4-year-old son of the decedent. The son had not yet been born at the time of the shooting.
The shooters were identified as Oliver N. Malabuyo and Daniel A. Bunch.
