Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a vehicle.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Silvia Lux.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made late Friday night.
The decedent was known to friends as Patty Ortiz. She, her husband Genry (“Henry”) Ortiz, and their daughter Erin were in a head-on collision in Saugus caused by a 17-year-old. Patty died on scene; Genry and Erin were transported to a hospital where he was officially declared deceased shortly after midnight.
