Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old female that occurred in a vehicle in Llano.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Elya Tsatinyan.

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday afternoon.
The decedent was a passenger in a Range Rover that was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on State Route 138 at 195th Street East. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
Location: The intersection of Pearblossom Highway and 195th Street East, near the border of Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties.
Vehicles Involved: A 2012 Chevrolet, a 2026 Range Rover, and a 2015 Peterbilt big rig hauling two trailers fully loaded with gravel.
Preliminary reports from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) indicate the driver of the Chevrolet was traveling westbound when it crossed the center line and collided with the eastbound big rig. The impact caused the truck to veer into westbound lanes, where it struck the 2026 Range Rover.
