(L.A.) Aidan Guevara, 26, Died on the Pomona Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Latino male that occurred on the 60 Freeway in the area of Montebello and Monterey Park.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Aidan Guevara. Born in L.A. County.

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday morning.

California Highway Patrol ws notified at 3:04 a.m. of a crash on eastbound State Route 60 near the Garfield Avenue off-ramp.

Witnesses called in that it appeared that a white sedan had collided with the rear or side of a white Freightliner big rig truck. The car ended up partly pinned under the truck.

The decedent was the speeding driver of the smaller vehicle.
