Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Heather Garcia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Sequelae of Brainstem Hemorrhagic Stroke, Clinical

Cause of Death B: Amphetamine Effects, Clinical

Other Significant Condition: History of Seizure Disorder

RIP HEATHER GARCIA (1991 – December 14, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
