(L.A.) Mario Borunda, 70, Died in an RV

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 70-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a recreational vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mario Borunda.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Heroin, and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-December, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
