(L.A.) Samuel Ocegueda, 28, Died in Long Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Samuel Ocegueda of Long Beach.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Head Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

The incident happened in the 1700 block of Newport Avenue at around 1:45 a.m.

Isai Solis, 28 years old and of Lynwood, was arrested for murder and assault with a deadly weapon. He apparently had an argument with the victim and then proceeded to intentionally run over him. Bail has been set at 2 million dollars.
