(L.A.) Bailey Magana, 26, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle in Santa Clarita.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Bailey Magana.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma, Thermal Injuries, and Inhalation of Products of Combustion

RIP BAILEY MAGANA (July 18, 1999 – November 8, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The decedent was off-duty LAPD.

He crashed his Tesla into a utility pole near Cinema Drive and Bouquet Canyon Road at around 2:12 a.m.

The car caught fire and he was burned alive inside.

Doesn’t look like it can be determined whether he was drunk or high on drugs at the time.

In one year, his total pay and benefits cost the taxpayers 134,961 dollars.
