(L.A.) Cecil Rhodes, 65, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Black male that occurred in an alley.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Cecil Rhodes.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine
Other Significant Condition: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
