RIP ABRAN MENEZ (June 11, 1990 – October 28, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

Alcoholism weakens blood vessels, raises blood pressure, and damages small brain vessels, increasing the risk of hemorrhagic stroke.

Ethanol-induced damage makes it unlikely that an alcoholic can donate a liver or kidneys, as chronic alcohol use typically causes irreversible damage—such as cirrhosis, steatosis, and fibrosis—that disqualifies these organs. However, certain tissues, such as corneas, may still be viable for donation.

By drinking too much, this individual put alcohol before his responsibility to his family. The damage not only cost him his life, but also forces his children to grow up without a father.
