Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Asian female that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Margie Astudillo of Lancaster.
Height: 5 feet 4 inches / Weight: 150 pounds
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.
The decedent may have been of Filipino descent. She was booked and cited by Lancaster PD in July for stealing a shopping cart. Back about five years ago, she was in a relationship with Joel Estrella, who would die from a drug overdose in January 2024.
