Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Scott Jackson.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Acute Fentanyl Toxicity
Other Significant Conditions: Obesity, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, and Hyperlipidemia

The decedent may have passed away late Wednesday night, October 29.
