(L.A.) Villanelle Thompson, 26, Died on the Hollywood Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Black male that occurred on the Hollywood Freeway by Melrose Avenue.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Villanelle Thompson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made early Tuesday morning.

The decedent was a motorcyclist who collided with a a white Honda Pilot. He ended up pinned under a red Toyota Corolla.

California Highway Patrol said the accident happened about a half hour after midnight.
