(L.A.) Daniel Mendoza, 66, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Daniel Mendoza of Norwalk.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
