Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Dimitri Katamanin.
Height: 5 feet 9 inches / Weight: 240 pounds
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Drowning

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.
The decedent was from the Chicago area, apparently one of the sons of the notorious Mikhail Katamanin, who himself died in Switzerland in 2009 at the age of 53.
The decedent’s brother Alan Stephen Katamanin committed suicide in 2021 at the age of 31.
