(L.A.) Salvador Lamas, 90, Died in a Pool

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 90-year-old Latino male that occurred in the pool of a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Salvador Lamas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Drowning and Blunt-Force Injuries of Chest

Other Significant Conditions: Dementia and Hypertensive Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP SALVADOR LAMAS (December 25, 1934 – October 17, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Salvador Ramirez Lamas.
