(L.A.) Michael Gonos, 38, Died in Assisted Living

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at an assisted living facility.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Gonos.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Heroin Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 28, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
