Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old that occurred on a freeway.

The coroner’s office has identified the person as Jill Polinsky.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Force Traumatic Injuries

Other Significant Condition: Thermal Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:45 p.m.

This is one of the few records in the government’s death database where gender and ethnicity are both listed as unknown.

The coroner-investigator was Emily Edge Biersdorf, the deputy medical examiner Dr. Martina Kennedy.
