(L.A.) Daswood Bowman, 47, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Native American male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Daswood Bowman.

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Ethanol and Fentanyl

RIP DASWOOD BOWMAN (October 5, 1977 – September 5, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 11, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substsance overdose.
