Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Marie Carrello.

Cause of Death : Effects of Acute Fentanyl Intoxication

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Complications of Respiratory Failure

Cause of Death B: Pneumonia

Cause of Death C: Influenza A

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

On October 30, the Department of Medical Examiner changed their initial conclusion that this was an accidental drug overdose.
