Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 74-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Alfonso Ortega.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Sudden Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Tobacco Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 17.
