(L.A.) Lorena Garcia, 42, Died in Lancaster

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a driveway.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Lorena Garcia.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

The decedent was shot in the driveway of a Lancaster home by a man she had been arguing with.

LASD said the incident happened at around 4:40 a.m. in the 6300 block of West Avenue J-2.

A gun was found on the shoulder of the road a few blocks from where the shooting took place.
