Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Leslie Bernal.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Effects
Other Significant Condition: Obesity
RIP LESLIE BERNAL (September 3, 1988 – August 5, 2025)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.
This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
