(L.A.) Danifu Ardery, 51, Died on a Public Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Black male that occurred at a public sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Danifu Ardery. Born in L.A. County.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early November, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
