Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Black male that occurred at a prison/correctional facility.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Keivin Mosby.

Height” 5 feet 8 inches / Weight: 170 pounds

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Respiratory Viral Infection (Covid-19 and Human Rhinovirus/Enterovirus)

RIP KEIVIN TREON MOSBY (July 25, 1990 – August 5, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The decedent was found lifeless inside his cell at Men’s Central Jail, which is in downtown L.A.
