(L.A.) Joseph Ixta, 28, Died at a Private Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Latino male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Joseph Ixta.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Alcohol Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 11, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polysubstance overdose.
