Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Black male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Tyjai Powell.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Ketoacidosis

Cause of Death B: Profound Hyperglycemia

Cause of Death C: Uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus
